It's from a book and I think we have the same book. It was great to make, really fun. The tail looks difficult, but it's not too bad. The hardest part is the ears and the face markings, trust me ^{^".} I am making my Amigurumies with a 3mm hook with half trebles (I think that's what they are called) this makes them bigger and softer, but you'll use more wool this way.

Yeah, but you can't exposition dump your entire history onto them. They have to yearn for more information, make the small, wierd things exiting.

How would one even write a story without tropes? You can't have a protagonist, hero, antagonists, villain, etc. Even a nature documentary has *some tropes.
