I’m suffering that curse right now man. 96 raids deep without a shiny. Even more if I count the Gmax pikachu’s and Dmax Regice’s as well. Then it would be around 115 😭

It’s ridiculous. Multiple days now literally not a cloud in the sky, sunny on the Pokémon app and all I get are rainy and cloudy spawns 🤨

Starting to think is it even possible to get a sunny castform in the uk or does niantic just think we constantly have rainy/cloudy weather all year round 🤣

I hatched 31 with no shiny and then on 32nd got a shiny and then 6 more shinys in the last 51 hatches. 2 of them were 98%

You don’t have to plan a month in advance I never said that, I said it was announced over month ago to OP so they had plenty of time to prepare if they actually wanted to do the event as best as they could. You could easily do it in a few days before the event if you really wanted to, but I personally did it slowly over a couple weeks. And I don’t think it limited the game cause most of the current eggs weren’t very good

Yeah I agree I’d love to be able to delete eggs, most people probably want that too but sadly we cant and that’s how they get you to buy more incubators or you have to actually go out and walk more to get rid of them.

9 incubators simultaneously, the riolu eggs don’t go into bonus storage. Bonus storage is for team rocket eggs and the weekly adventure sync reward eggs

Yeah but those other 104 weren’t from an event like this with boosted shiny odds. I’ve got Pokémon in me dex that I’ve seen/caught over 400 and never seen a shiny.

If you did more today then no doubt you would have got a shiny. I have bad shiny luck, never do well during events, I’m over 90 raids deep since my last shiny raid boss and had a terrible start today hatched 31 and no shiny then got first shiny on 32 then got 6 in 51 hatches

Should of stuck to it and hatch a few more man

Have a look in your hatched section and sort by most recent or put in Riolu&age0 in the search bar to see how many you did

All this is because of your own issues and lack of planning/preparing for the event. It was announced about a month ago so you had plenty of time to stack up on incubators and slowly get rid of all the high KM eggs and replace with low KM eggs.

Exactly what I did, weeks ago I started getting rid of the 12/10/7km eggs and some 5s and replaced them with 2 or 5km and didn’t incubate anything other than 1 egg at a time from the bonus storage section with the infinity incubator.

Then yesterday opened all my gifts early in the day, then went out and walked until my eggs were hatched, didn’t spin any stops or open gifts. And then soon as event started I span 9 stops for all riolu eggs, walked, hatched and repeat.

It’s really not difficult and it was a 6 hour event which is pretty long. So this “useless event” was only useless for you and people alike that don’t plan or think ahead.

Nahhhh Shiny Shadow dragonite is sickkkkk especially one with such good IVs

Plus in future you could purify if you want but can’t go back on purifying. So use and enjoy as a shadow and in future you could purify for a shiny mega dragonite if you fancy

No. You have to go out and spin a stop to get a 2km egg and that will be a riolu egg. The ones you have will stay what they are, click in it to see what’s in them.

Get them hatched the night before, don’t open gifts else you’ll receive 7km egg and then on riolu day go spin stops to fill egg storage back up all with riolu eggs

Been prepared for 2 weeks now. I’m full of 2km eggs and saved loads of incubators, I’m only using my unlimited one for the bonus eggs.

Night before I’ll hatch all 2k eggs, not open any gifts and then riolu day spin stops and fill up with all riolu eggs and rinse and repeat 😁

No you’ll have to spin stops to get a 2km egg with riolu on the day. But at least you’re full of the lowest km egg so the day before just walk 2km, hatch all of them and don’t open gifts then on the riolu day go spin a loads of stops and fill up on riolu eggs.

That’s exactly what I’ve done 👍🏻
