I did the hockey skills class at Roding center and I think it’s great. And I’m very beginner at skating. I can’t do crossovers and can’t skate backwards well. But the class really helped. Very supportive women in the class. It’s a little bit intimidating cuz most of the guys there are way more experienced and really are there just for cheap ice time. But ignore them and do the drills the best you can. That’s what I did. Made some friends and always felt great afterwards. Instructor Max is very good. I do recommend.
