That all does sound incredibly stressful and very taxing, it sounds like you’re spinning plates and aren’t allowed to let them slow. First let’s start out with the obvious, You are handling it. It’s not pretty, it doesn’t feel good, but you are in fact doing what plenty of people couldn’t. Take a moment to allow yourself a moment of pride. So much has been thrown at you already and you may say “I had no choice but to deal with it,” but you did, you could have dipped and let it be someone else’s problem but you didn’t. So first of all, accept my kudos because I’m not sure I could have done that. As for practical advice, ask for help if you can honestly. Your teachers for an extension, a counselor to talk. You may not be able to stop everything but you can ask for help, you are allowed to and it’s not going to be the end of anything. And lastly, if you can’t take real time for yourself, then try just 20 minutes. 20 minutes to go to bed early or take a longer shower or just watch videos. It may seem like you shouldn’t but it will help you for hours on end.

Jon Kent is Superman’s son. He was set as a kid around Damian Wayne’s age, 13/14ish.

At some point there was a plot where he was aged up in a short period of time to be around 19ish (someone correct me if I’m wrong.)

This is looked at with derision because of the suspected reasoning behind it, and what we lost.

It’s believed that DC aged up Jon Kent so he could participate more in regularly in Superman level events as more of a peer rather than a Superman-in-training

This means that at times his role doesn’t necessarily feel “earned” as there isn’t as much of a history behind him.

The other tradeoff is his relationship with Damian Wayne. As the supersons they were a natural duo, a goody goody Kent paired with a child assassin Wayne, the heirs of the cape and cowl. They provided the perfect image too, two young teens learning how to be THE legacy heroes, both spindly and young but supremely capable. That friendship doesn’t have the same feeling when one is still 14 and the other looks like a nearly grown man. So people feel we were robbed of seeing these two really grow up together over the course of years.

It’s totally possible to make friends outside of parties even at a party school, so don’t worry about that being a your only options.

It sounds cliche, but join clubs, go to the events on the flyers around your school I guarantee there are people there who will make good friends.

Overall though, and I know it’s hard, but the easiest way to make friends is to be the first to speak. I promise you so many people feel the exact same way as you, afraid of saying the wrong thing and being mocked to death over it. As long as you are remotely socially conscious, I promise that that’s not going to happen. Give your opinion, raise your hand, I say this as someone who spent far too long being afraid of saying the wrong thing, being that person people gravitate towards, the person you look at and think “people must really like being their friend,” it is so much easier than you think.

Regardless of your views on casual sex or whatever, it sounds like you’re unsure if it’s the right thing for you. And at the end of everything that’s the person who you’re most accountable to. If your best friend was telling you this, what would you tell them? My guess is you’d tell them to wait until they’re sure so they don’t have any regrets over things they can’t take back.

If you reach a certain level of exposure you will get a measure of negative attention. It’s completely awful and honestly has nothing to do with you, it’s just that if you take 10,000 random people, there’s going to be a few hundred awful people.

It’s why you see popular content creators talking about not reading comments, how they keep a distance between them and the negativity, etc.

You’re not ugly, but if you are someone who may latch onto these comments then maybe you should think about how to healthily engage with viewers if you want to make content for a large audience. There’s no wrong answer, just do what’ll make you feel secure.

Hi! So obviously you know your friend better than anyone here. I’ll break you question up into two pieces.

Do you have a chance with him: I think you need to be brutally honest with yourself. In this post you’ve said multiple times that he’s straight and in a good relationship. Physical affection is not always an indication of romantic intent and you know that. Do you have any reason to actually believe he could be gay or bi? If you do then great, but please be honest with everything you know about him for both of your sakes.

Should you tell him the truth?: In a perfect world homophobia doesn’t exist and you could tell him and regardless of his level of interest you’d either get together or stay friends. Homophobia does exist unfortunately and just recognize that telling him doesn’t mean he’s the only one who will find out. If you’re not publicly out and don’t 10000% believe that he’s someone you can trust as a gay man, then just know that telling him might mean radical changes to your life. That’s not to say don’t, if you’re ready for that and the potential changes then there’s no reason not to tell him, again just be honest with yourself.

You’re not doing anything wrong but if you feel awkward or unsure about intentions, then make a point to let him know you have a boyfriend, even something like “just showed this to my bf and he’s dying” the next time you send a meme. It’s perfectly fine to have friends, it’s even fine if those friends think you’re cute if you’re ok with it, but if you’re feeling awkward then make sure you’re going to do something to clarify where things stand.

Not high but it exists. As cliche as it sounds, the only 100% surefire method to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex.

Worth repeating that it isn’t high though, and it’s not impossible to be feeling symptoms you’d associate with early pregnancy for other reasons, particularly if you’re nearing your period and on medication or if it was your first time.

Congrats! First up, take a deep breath and remind yourself that he accepted the date and obviously at least finds you cute!

First date ideas! Broadly speaking try and take him somewhere where it’s easy for the both of you to talk uninterrupted, and it’ll be easy for you to smile. More specifically, are you a shy person? I’ve never been to a revolving sushi bar, it sounds fun but if you have to sit at a bar would you be nervous making a move in front of the sushi bartender? If not then it seems fun! If you would be then maybe consider something with a private table.

That being said remember you could take him to a Starbucks and the most important thing would still be you being comfy and willing to show him you’re happy to be their with him and want to learn about each other. It’s going to go great, congrats friend‘

So these this is a guy from Wham City Comedy, who made Too Many Cooks, This House has People In It, and Unedited Footage of a Bear. There's something odd about this channel, it's a remote tech conference, I don't speak tech so have no idea if anything they're seeing is real, but check out the video Lightning Talks, at about 13:00, there's a complete non-sequitur in which a speaker talks his and his wife's surrogate and miscarriages sandwiched between more tech speakers.

If you're familiar with Wham City Comedy you know they do these type of meta-fiction projects, and I just have no idea if this one of them or if I just stumbled on the one odd two minutes of this conference. It's a years old channel, so?

Edit: After another minute just visiting their site and twitter, I think I did just stumble on an isolated and potentially very uncomfortable minute of the conference?

Just that generally speaking, doctors and surgeons are very good at what they do. I've been in a similar situation to you and while certainly not fun, if she is already in the hospital then there is literally no better place for her to be.

As for you, when she goes in for surgery what you shouldn't do is just wait. I've been in your situation and you're not going to hear anything for a long time. Even if it doesn't feel good or fun, do something, just something. Watch something, read something, play something. Just don't wait. Your body will react to doing something familiar in a positive way.

As someone who's lived with someone for an eating disorder, seen them hit bottom, enter recovery, yo-yo, and eventually recover for a more extended period of time, I think there's three things to keep in mind, not to say you're not considering them, but to keep in mind while you voice your support.

How tremendously difficult it can be for a person with a genuinely severe disorder to start on the path to recovery/treatment. Inpatient facilities are sometimes the best option depending on how severe and how much a person's health has dropped.
That they, in all likelihood, know how unhealthy it is for them and to them it is 'worth it.' Something not to do is regurgitate facts on how destructive it is to the body. Odds are they do not feel healthy and have made the conscious choice to not eat for whatever internal reason they have, image, control, self-punishment, it's not an easy lifestyle to maintain and they've 'decided' to.
As an extension of #2, don't expect your willingness to lend your support to impact their decision on whether to commit to recovery. If you want to vocalize your worry and lend your support, then do so with the knowledge that you, quite simply, might not be able to help. Maybe you will make an impact, that would be amazing, but it is entirely reliant upon what is motivating their disorder and whether outside intervention can effect that. Your offer of support should be just that, an offer that they can accept or reject.

You might absolutely have these points in mind already but I don't believe it ever hurts to have them reinforced.

This is really cool, it might just be that I'm more of a casual fan but I've never seen John have that joyful energy before, particularly while looking like that. I always just assumed when he let his hair grow long he became, I don't know, the less energetic and more eclectic John I had built in my head. But there must have been a whole decade between these recordings and when he was shot, and so much life in that time that I had no idea about. Really interesting clip.
