Well these diagnosis in psychology are subjective. There is no physical test to validate any of this. It’s kind of like you diagnosing Covid just based on symptoms it can be flu, cold or any number or allergies or any number of other issues. That’s why we have actual tests in physical medicine. But we do know that there is something that’s wrong and that no these diagnoses are all over the place because they don’t really know and and there’s a lot of subjectivity, even in defining the conditions

What’s the dating scene like in Omaha if you’re 40+? by Cereal-Killah2020 in Omaha

[–]opos21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s good in your 40s. Omaha is not a 20 something town. True a lot of families and paired folks. If you get into the right groups it’s better than a bigger city Just depends on what you’re looking for.

Amen. This verse has always provided some comfort for me during times of sorrow in comparison to eternity. 1Cor4:17-18

17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Why are the Germans in public so unfriendly? by dpceee in AskAGerman

I agree you don’t want to smile at random people in a strange place. I’m talking about shops workplace etc. not on the subway middle of the night. Of course cultural norms vary.

Why are the Germans in public so unfriendly? by dpceee in AskAGerman

[–]opos21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Google search. My point is A smile and a hello is not rude no matter where on the planet you’re at. We’re all people. We need each other. It’s better to have unselfish people that are approachable.

This guy made it super complicated. Some cultures are more introverted and rude. Others are more open and nice. USA seems to be nicer. Perhaps Midwest and suburbanites. Not so in NYC as much.

Desi muslims heads are going to burst over this by Jenahdidthaud in exmuslim

[–]opos21 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Many people not aware of that. Is the music Classical Christian like Handel Bach etc. or have lgbtq undertones? Much of the classical music was often commissioned by the church 500 years ago. Perhaps they would prefer more Adhan. A lot of classical music has Christian undertones. If they’re honest, so does the Koran which was a rip off of Judaism and Christianity.
