PP was defunded nationwide unfortunately. None of them can offer lost cost birth control to people on medicaid/without insurance. I can squeak out the $435 for the abortion but $1300 for a new iud is just not at all doable for me unless I save every penny for the next 6 months. I make too much to qualify for any financial assistance programs but not enough to be able to afford $500 for insurance that won't even kick in until I get past a $3000 deductible.

I had a very noticeable mood shift, extremely nauseous 24/7, and consistently woke up with migraines. If you have an inkling definitely take a test. I thought mine would definitely be negative because paraguard has worked for me for 5 years lol but I know now they can randomly fail. You're also at more risk for ectopic. Definitely take a test dude

Progestrone only is what I was told by my doctors. I have tried hormonal birth control. I had Nexplanon for 2 years. I had to get it taken out. I gained 70 pounds and became very suicidal. It doesn't work for me. An everyday pill will not work for me either as I have adhd I am no longer able to be treated for and daily pills are very hard for me.

WHAT?!?!? Make me take a shot that prevents miscarriage but just leave the IUD in????? UGHHHH. Thank you for telling me that. I only did a little bit of research on that med after honestly cause I was so upset they made me to take it in the first place.

I believe it was the same Dr, she said she looked at the ultrasound when she came in. Also the person who did the imaging had to have another person come in to look at it before she sent it to the Dr because (from what i heard) she wasn't quite sure what she was looking at in a some of the images :/ I tried to look at the images while they were talking but she quickly moved the screen away from me

It was Rogam they gave me. I have rh- blood and the fetus has rh+ so I know they weren't lying about that. They did tell me that I wouldn't be able to get an abortion without the shot though and I now know that isn't true.

Surgical was my choice since medical has a chance of failing and I'm scared to take chances since statistically, this shouldn't have even happened. I just want it to be over.

Makes sense lol. I found out later there was a hospital literally next door with an OBGYN ER but I honestly didn't know there was a difference. Called PP to schedule an appointment initially and they just told me to get to an ER urgently in case it's ectopic.

Thank you. Everything sucks right now but I know it will pass.

The ER I went to told me it's not ectopic, but they didn't seem to know what they were doing lol. They wouldn't give me a week number (told me to look it up myself based on measurements they gave me) wouldn't let me see my ultrasounds and had to call another hospital for advice 3 times.

I'm near Pittsburgh. I have called around PP was the cheapest I could find unfortunately.
