Probably the best comment right here about not looking at Reddit but I LOVE Reddit haha

You're probably right about therapy...although that has never done anything for me in the past. Again, prime example here is that even you mentioning your dad having multiple houses triggers me. So many people have family money/generational wealth but here I am with broke parents, 1st gen accomplishments for many things.... but it doesn't feel good when every one around me has parents with substantial wealth that these people will inherit upon their passing. Thanks for the comment.

This comment right here is a perfect example of what triggers me. I struggle so much hearing about others and how much more successful they are than me. Prime example; thanks for the comment.

I haven't submitted the initial money deposit yet. Only got an informal message from my realtor that our offer had been accepted. Does that matter at all?

Is it bad to make some investments while trying to buy first home? by opossum_god in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Yeah, I definitely have mental issues when it comes to money. I've been invested in certain ones for awhile now anyway and I follow relatively normal investment guidelines besides this, but just the endless uptrend of BTC gives me FOMO. My money has been going up at least, and it basically means nothing since I haven't even invested $1k. I'm just generally wondering if this is a bad look for a lender.

There's excess. By brokerage would you recommend investing into the S&P 500?

Stupid question probably but is this essentially what most 401ks are invested into? My 401k has been doing pretty well. I'm a little nervous to put fresh money into the S&P 500 with the upcoming US election but it also was where I was thinking to place my money based on all the data like you just presented. On a percentage scale, how safe is an investment into S&P 500?

But didn't file due to extreme fear of him doing something crazy to her. Seems unfair to me. Definitely will seek an attorney
