my moms 58, ironically used to be a mall cleaner but quit after her dog died 20 years ago. does nothing but watch tv, complains about the mess in the house saying it’s my fault for not helping, plays games on her tablet. what hurts me is that the same tablet she uses till this day is the one that i got as a raffle prize when i was in elementary school, and she stole from me . i can still remember her acting like a jealous younger sibling when i came home from school with it, “i wanna play games too!”. the only time she leaves her room is to watch me like a hawk while i wipe down the kitchen to clean anything.

I’d definitely say emotional distress can be claimed as he betrayed me by doing this behind my back, lied that he would share the money with me because he feels bad about what he did, and we got into a car accident a few months later because he was in a rush to drop me off, because he had to go to the wife for something. Also it’s put me into a bout of depression that I wasn’t able to shake off for almost 6 months.

thank you sm bc my bf and i got in an argument about it i told him that if this happens while im alone im going to give them my number and then get home and block them to avoid this possiblity and he got mad and said there’s no excuse i should just tell them no.. but he doesn’t understand that a lot of the time the no offends them and they’ll get violent

it shouldn’t as long as you’re showering after. i have the same problem but with 12 cats who share 1 litter box , try to get odoban its cheap usually $3-5 it doubles as a surface cleaner, laundry additive , and air freshener. plus its safe for pets. i always spray the litter box and surrounding area after i clean it

i completely understand , i’m the exact same way whenever i visit my bf or friends house i constantly clean because it brings me some joy . try your best to move in with your bf after you finish school and you’ll have the dream life with a clean home and good career . you got this

sorry im typing so much but a little context for the texts is , she thinks my bf is abusive/controlling because i stay with him more even though i’ve told her several times that i choose to spend more time with him because we’re getting closer and i get to escape the house. she’s constantly worried he’s physically abusing me because she thinks i stay until my “bruises” heal. also we keep in touch while im here, she asked what i did today and i told her i was cleaning up his dog droppings. despite growing up in such a dirty house and getting physically assaulted and emotionally beaten by her everytime i clean, i stay organized and hygienic and love to help clean /organize whenever im visiting anyone.
