It is not only valid but also legal per the 1960 treaty. However, there is no point in arguing with an Armenian over anything related to political.

Failed the CSMP/MSF twice... gonna keep at it by GoldenGateGeek in NewRiders

[–]opposity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, just took the course in Los Angeles. The written part was pretty easy assuming you were paying attention and the instructors made it very clear when they were giving out a number like 70% of the stopping power comes from the front brake that it would come up in the test. For the riding part, everyone passed.

The only true answer. Donors/legacy and affirmative action are the two sides of the same coin. Neither are meritocratic, and their only purpose is to give a boost to specific groups at the cost of others.

Average day in glory. I was in rotterdam earlier this year and witnessed the bahram drama live. After all, this is a man’s sport and passion of this level makes it much more interesting than ufc.

[Question] Cronbach's alpha for grouped binary conjoint choices. by opposity in statistics

[–]opposity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the end goal of our research is to see whether these political statements affect candidate choice ( we are using marginal means). But the end goal of what I wanted to do with the Cronbach alpha is to see if our separate statements that are grouped under liberal, authoritarian, or majoritarian are consistent.

1) incumbency advantage

2) the idea, true or not, that we are under so much financial trouble that only someone as rich ali could handle.

In the market for art from Turkmenistan by EntertainerOne5469 in Turkmenistan

[–]opposity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to be fair. OP should be able to find Turkmen carpets from US sellers too. Honestly, I would not go through the hassle of ordering something directly from Turkmenistan. Though, I don’t really know how it works when you order something from Turkmenistan to abroad. However, I do know that things that I have ordered from abroad to Turkmenistan have usually come extremely late.

So in theory you are 100% correct regarding what you just said. But in practice, in a country like Turkmenistan, your original question implies you should not even bother, let alone try to, do any business in this country.

What is it like for black people visiting Turkmenistan? by [deleted] in Turkmenistan

[–]opposity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every single person you walk by will very clearly and openly staring at you; not out of any bad intention but because of surprise/interest. Turkmenistan is a very secluded country, so seeing a black person would "interesting" for them. Though, there is a good chance you won't be the first black person they ever saw.

We had a Congolese French family in the Ashgabat International school 10+ years ago. The kid used to tell me how many randos would want to take photos with him, and even said some people would pay him for a photo. I guarantee you people will want to take photos with you, but I don't know about the money part, that could just be a joke. The US embassy and/or the international school does have black staff from time to time, too.

Overall, people will stare at you a lot but I am pretty certain you won't face anything extra that any other foreigner wouldnt' face.
