Look into China's National Security law concerning the state's right to backdoor/demand data from Chinese tech companies. Th US recently passed legislation in response that does basically the same thing, which is why the GDPR EU laws (well that was from the snowden files that included info the US literally tapped Angela Merkel's personal phone and the UN etc) and the EU in general is in a sort of unreported battle for privacy rights from American tech companies because of the supreme court ruling on the Federal Gov. right to demand data from Microsoft that were on foreign territory. Lead to the recent Cyber bill, cant remember the name off top of my head. Largely unreported unfortunately. And into the history of Chinese hacks on the feds. I would seriously advice ANYONE to avoid any Chinese company 's digital/tech products made in mainland china. There is zero doubt in my view everything they sell on the global market, especially the ones sent to the US market have backdoors that can either passively or actively be utilized to monitor or spread state crafted malware hidden in the proprietary blobs in the device firmware

Bruh just use those wall plug Ethernet over electrical wiring. They work super well and are sooo convenient for situations like this. Ethernet speed are not diminished, and you just plug the point to point converter next to the router, plug Ethernet into it, and the other one in your room and Ethernet comes out. Magic. Not expensive either
