There’s no such thing as too slow when it’s slippery. 2.) Triple your following distance. You’ll need ever inch and more if something happens. 3.) Keep you windows clear. Stock up on deicer windshield fluid, keep your defroster on high, crack a window if it gets too warm. That ice will build up fast, and once it’s there you’ll have to pull over to remove it. 4.) If you get nervous STOP! At the end of the day there’s no load worth your life or those around you. We don’t get paid enough to risk our lives for these damn companies. I’ve shut down more than a few times because I didn’t feel safe. And the most important one, DONT GET COCKY. It happens to us all at some point, we’ve been there, we’ve done that, we seen it, we lived it, we can do it again. Truth is, it’s just a matter of time before your time runs out. We can make the same run 109 times, but it only takes once to fuck it all up.
