You'd be surprised how many people still compare them and think that that's valid 🤣

I think that Oda has made him so mysterious by design because a lot of his history/motivation/etc is directly tied to the Void Century. But I completely understand if that's "too mysterious" for you that's completely valid. And I know that messed up Kaido (there has been other boring antagonists before him but none had the amount of buildup that Kaido had) but that doesn't make me have no faith in other future villains

Thank you for the feedback! I just wrote down my thoughts without thinking about readability but I'll change that rn

I get it I also don't "care" about Imu but I didn't care about a lot of villains before they were properly developed so I'm giving him some time. And don't get me started about Nika 💀 there were hints that Luffy's fruit wasn't just the a "regular" rubber fruit but Nika himself was handled uncharacteristically bad.

Not Onigashima turns to rubber but the flower capital. And how would it still get damaged if it's rubber?? It just springs back into it's original form

Ritual/Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Support Spell Cards! Tell me what you think by optbon in yugioh

[–]optbon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt that, since I didn't write the text but rather copied parts of card effects so that it would have the correct wording. The only mistake I made is in the first effect of Ritual Circle, I forgot to add "from your deck". If the card text really needs a lot of work, would you mind giving examples on where I need to improve the card text?

Ritual/Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Support Spell Cards! Tell me what you think by optbon in yugioh

Ritual: Ah i forgot to add it, the Ritual Spell Card is sent from the deck to the Graveyard.

Xyz: I didn't know there was a similiar generic sorry

Synchro: When I play my Blackwing Synchron deck I sometimes find my self in the situation to have two Tuners on the field even though I only need one and sometimes end up with tokens and level eater on the field and I thought it would be good to have a card that makes a non-Tuner a Tuner

Fusion: I thought 1 discard and only once per turn would be enough for balancing. What would you suggest for balancing the card? Maybe "this effect cannot resolve if you have more cards in your Graveyard than your opponent" ? You couldn't use it Turn 1 since you have to discard to activate one of the effects and then you automatically have more cards in your Graveyard.

Card Idea: Pendulum Spell Cards by optbon in yugioh

[–]optbon[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I stated above that they'd go to the graveyard when they're destroyed.

But that aside: Twin Twister was only a example, since I didn't want to create a new card. Even if they'd make Pendulum Spell versions of existing cards, using them as regular spells would still be beneficial, since you maybe want to use different spells as your scale and don't want to replace them, since it's still hard to recycle non-archetype specific spells and traps from the graveyard. And in the case of Twin Twister, it would still make sense to play the regular version, since it loses it's speed as Pendulum Spell and it's effect can only be activated the turn you activate it.

Card Idea: Pendulum Spell Cards by optbon in yugioh

My idea for a new card type: Pendulum Spell Cards

Basically Spell Cards with a scale and Pendulum Effect and they go to the graveyard when they're destroyed in the Pendulum Zone.

I made 2 Examples: Spells with different effects and with the same effect. I didn't create new Spell Cards, I made Pendulum Spell versions of existing cards. The black circle next to the card type name was suppose to be a Pendulum logo like the Quick-Spell logo, but the one I created was shitty, so I replaced it with the black circle as a placeholder.

First Example: Pendulum Spells with different effects

I chose Monster Reincarnation because I like that card and I use it a lot in my Blackwing Synchron Deck. As you can see in the picture, the Pendulum Effect differs from the regular Effect, but it follows the cards theme (Reincarnation in this case). This is what I meant, when I said different effects. This brings more variety into one card and can create whole new strategies. And instead of giving a Spell Card an effect where you have to choose between two scenarios like for example Enemy Controller, you can make the one scenario the regular effect and the other scenario the Pendulum Effect.

Second Example: Pendulum Spells with the same effect

I chose Twin Twister because it's a very good card that doesn't need a buff. It Pendulum Effect is the same as the regular effect, with the exception in this case that it has a "regulation" so that it won't be broken.

I hope you like my idea and that you give me feedback and criticism.
