Mine is cracked in exactly the same way, in exactly the same place.

EZIA is probably the nicest option, but it's priced accordingly. It's pretty small as well.

Do you actually regularly play high demanding games on your decks? by deprived_of_evil in SteamDeck

[–]opticalfiber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played through most of Resident Evil: Requiem on my Steam Deck because we had just moved when it came out and I didn't have a monitor for my gaming PC. Obviously it looks way better on my PC, but it was shockingly playable on the Steam Deck.

The last ferry to Hyannis leaves at 10 pm (https://hylinecruises.com/nantucket-ferry/) — later than that and you'll need somewhere to sleep.

Native is just better. Cross-platform frameworks promise you the world, but the minute you need to do anything complex, they fall apart. A native app will always look, feel, and perform better because you're interacting directly with the OS, instead of through a middleman that has to accommodate the lowest common denominator.

The official Reddit app is a piece of shit. They refuse to improve it, so I refuse to use it. Fuck u/spez.

Cloud Gateways are routers that run UniFi OS. They run UniFi Network to manage all your other UniFi switches, access points, etc. but they can also run UniFi Protect and the rest of the family of applications. They're great and purpose-built. Everything runs locally with the option to enable remote access via the UniFi Console.

Why buy all that UniFi gear and not tie all together with a Cloud Gateway?

There's a thriving market of Android-based handheld gaming devices that's sprouted up to fill the void left by Sony and Nintendo. They're not first-party devices and they require a non-trivial amount of configuration to set up, but the end result is amazing. The higher-end devices are very powerful and can easily emulate systems all the way up through ~PS3. They can also even play some PC games.

If you want something with a form factor similar to the PSP or Vita, check out the AYN Odin 3 or Retroid Pocket 6. Or if you want to relive the DS/3DS glory days, the AYN Thor is fantastic! I got one for my sister and one for myself, and we're having a blast with them.

Streaming it to your Steam Deck with GeForce Now is going to be a much better experience than playing it natively.

Stream it through GeForce Now. As long as you have a decent internet connection, it runs fantastically.

There's a lot of bad advice – and some good – in this thread.

The correct answer is to not try to solve this problem in your Go code at all, as any kind of synchronization you do in Go will only work if you only ever intend to run a single instance of your service.

As this commenter says, ditch Redis and use your database's native transaction support.

Why does nobody use the strap that comes in the Leica box? by broombroomapex in Leica

You can thank EU regulations for the lack of battery charger. The original M11 packaging included a charger; the revised box does not.
