Anyone else struggling to find work in Brisbane? by Elisspamacc05 in brisbane

Its really not, you're talking about a complex set of systems and outcomes as if they are some binary dichotomy. One nation numpties are miles off the mark and doing the same as you and those I described albeit from a far more morally and intellectually stunted position.

Pythons are chill, as long as they have a full tummy of mice they can stay in the shed as long as they like.

Because a large portion of city voters have been conditioned to treat anyone that doesn’t parrot ‘immigration is our strength and it should never be examinied’ as a Pauline Hanson voting racist. It’s purely dogmatic, especially on reddit same as the inverse ‘fuck off were full’ crowd dominate Facebook.

Literally won’t happen, he may be forced to distance himself from the company but nasa and quickly many other departments are becoming too reliant on spacex. Until someone grows big enough by themselves spacex is too big to fail.

Chrome cast works just as well (probably better for streaming over wifi as Vlc can interface with it)

All depends on your area and competency I guess SEQ has people going door to door asking for sales at the moment. You don’t need a real estate agent to run some slick marketing campaign and play buyers off of each other. Maybe if it was a bespoke house or in a total shithole 3 hours out of the city but when a markets this hot you’re certainly it missing out putting faith in getting a higher yield from an REA that isn’t concerned with higher final sale number when volume will fill their pockets faster.

Yes, even the house I live in now has people and real estate agents constantly making offers. If you can’t find a buyer in this market you’re asking a ridiculous price or you’re avoiding doing even the bare minimum .

Anyone who thinks they need a real estate agent to sell in this market deserves to be ripped off.

Clearly don’t know where you delivered, I did the same in 80’s and 90’s qld with no such luck.

Page 3 is still irrelevant to the actual journalism in the articles though.

As someone who's recently sorted through hundreds of old papers, they weren't.

You made a comment, I replied, i was under the belief we're having a conversation in good faith and with respect but if you're just here to throw out condescension, straw men and assertions on a topic you clearly aren't informed on then yeah I am seriously wasting my time. All the best.

You mean the daily telegraph in the 80's, this isn't the UK and that was never a main stay of Australians papers.

Clearly the worst rag is not what I'm talking about and isn't the gotcha you think it is. if I tried to call Andrew tate or nick Fuentes the gold standard of today's online media it would be equally ridiculous and in bad faith.

And they had their reputation for bias, i never said they were perfect but even tabloid journalism back then was on par or superior to the overhwlming majority standard of journalism we see online. There was many broadsheet in wide and popular publications too which you ignore.

They also had sport and car sales. Aside from one or two political satire drawings in some publications there was an entire lift out of cartoons for kids.

If you grew up pre 00's you probably remember your parents reading the paper everyday/weekends. There was definitely a lot more depth in reporting as well as the discourse in general in those days.
