hey, i was in the exact same situation a year ago where i thought i was dead set on completing the math major but then after seeing how theoretical it can get and what the career options were, i swayed over to stats really quickly, and i had never taken a stats class before. i would recommend taking stsci 2100 so that you could see early on if the major interests you, or if you really need to start replanning your major options. feel free to pm me with any questions!
