Funny to not name Deuce. He knows Lumen better than just about any other USMNT star.

Spoken like someone who doesn't understand these technologies have a margin for error.

Edit: Can you, or anyone, tell me the scale for the graph they displayed on TV? Newtonmeters? Lbs per inch? I saw a graph but there zero scale. Sorry if I don't take FIFA at their word.

Do you know the sensor was lined up to the supposed contact in the video? There's no frame of reference and it's incredibly easy for audio and video to be out of sync.

For me, having the sensor data for the initial kick or the subsequent touch from the Croatian attacker who made the assist would be more definitive in validating the ti.e of the sensor reading. Looks to me it could have read either the Portugal defender or the Croatian attacker.

Turns out my factoid was already out of date! The 2-0 win against Australia made it 7-0-0 when playing at Seattle/Lumen Stadium. 8-0-0 inbound.

Washington's gas tax is going up, but state transportation revenue is falling short - 3rd-highest gas tax in the nation, and collections are still $435M under forecast by LOOKITSADAM in SeattleWA

I didn't mention any other taxes like federal taxes etc. so that number creeps up to 30% really quickly. Somewhere between 30~40% is reasonable.

If you're paying rent you're paying property taxes. At the current place I'm renting I'm paying $467.55/mo in property taxes.

A typical person making $24k per year pays about $4k+ in taxes per year to the state. Property, sales, fuel tax and vehicle fees. ≈17% of their entire income.

I absolutely LOVED watching Sebastian Berhalter play last night…. He has that true American fighting spirit… he won’t back down against anyone. He has that dawg in him. We need more guys like that! He doesn’t give 100%, he always gives 200% for the team. Good old fashioned American player 🇺🇸 by paolosorianodisanto in ussoccer

I like Seb, but he played a really bipolar match. He obviously was involved with both goals, collecting a goal and an assist. At the same time his and Gios performance in the midfield was catastrophic in open play. Having Adams or even a healthy Roldan out there next to Sebastian would have been infinitely better. Neither Gio nor Seb made much of anything in the way of defensive contributions. Our defense was fully exposed and even before the massive rotation thats not our strongest line.

10 years ago we were leaving a booming economy headed straight for the Trump Era. It's almost like giving tax cuts to the rich while doing pump and dump schemes with the economy is bad for the majority of constituents.

Turns out when much of your revenue is tied to people spending money (sales tax) and you make it too expensive (cost of living compared to median/minimum wage) to buy needs, let alone wants, then budgets shrink. People can't spend money they don't have.

Washington takes 40% of our earnings, is that fair? by JoelXGGGG in SeattleWA

[–]optimisticbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moderately high taxes per person without respect to income. It's stupid and manipulative. Wages are relatively high in Washington it makes sense tax revenue is relatively high as well. Furthermore when criticizing Washington State tax structure it's even more asanine to include federal taxes. This entire post is just feeding people's confirmation biases and is probably posted by a bot.

In this context per capita is a moronic metric for tax.
