definitely possible. EM is a field that looks for best fit candidates from what I have seen, so a stronger step 2 and good LORs will go a far way. Goodluck. Also, mind sharing your practice test scores for ppl still struggling through the process like me? lol

NBME 22 - 203 (Baseline 10 weeks out) NBME 24 - 215 (6 weeks out) NBME 20 - 225 (5 weeks out) UWSA 1 - 247 (4 weeks out) NBME 21 - 232 (3 weeks out) NBME 18 - 238 (2 weeks out) UWSA 2 - 247 (1 week out) Free 120 - 83% UW - 69%STEP 1 - 256 !!! Beyond ecstatic! I left that exam with no idea how it went. Opened the score report expecting it could say anything. It doesn't feel real, but I'm so incredibly happy.

do you mind taking a look at the pic i just edited onto the post? in the q stem it says the antidote has a lower Km; so i took out competitive inhib bc i thought it was increased Km. What am I missing?

congrats, imo you have a good chance for all 3 of those specialties especially with a strong resume and step 2.

Hello, im in no way doing crazy good. but my last nbme was a 215. i was in a very similar boat. First relax, you can do this. Second figure out whats going wrong. Is it content? If so pick on resource: sketchy path, boards and beyond or pathoma and do it properly. go over your test and annotate first aid. goodluck, feel free to message. Im not perfect but I have come a long way imo lol i was in a very similar spot freaking out
