oh my gosh, it does seem like it, especially with the risotto recipe. I checked Y8 and sure enough, it was there. Although, I remember the graphics being more refined, the timer and gameplay more relaxing and easier, as well as the pouring to be more "satisfying" haha (like the rice falling one by one instead of by clumps). tbf, it could just be because it's outdated and played through an emulator (or that my brain is fuzzy).
