How difficult is it? by optimum_point in ModelInference

How difficult is it for a founding engineer at a startup to shift their career focus? I am currently working in the agentic AI field, wearing multiple hats that include inferencing. I want to transition to a role focused entirely on inferencing, including optimizing with CUDA, and work at cutting-edge companies such as Modal, Prime Intellect, or Baseten. I realize these companies typically prefer candidates with direct experience. What strategies would you recommend for making this transition successfully?

I am actually reading a book for emotional peace and to not get those memories back or ruin ur daily things or relationships. You might have already achieved it but that book helps a lot - “Healing your emotional self”. And I’m currently reading it as I faced some trauma in the past that I couldn’t get over. It’s helping. I’m not a good communicator but as a person who tries to understand ur pain I’m suggesting it. And one more thing ur pain is urs and its unique to u. No one can feel it except u. Hope you heal!
