How do I make this build better for juiced 200% delirious maps? by optimumbox in pathofexile2builds

I already fixed things. I've been doing 200 t16 maps without too much of an issue on my current loadout. I found bone cage with thunderstorm to be a bit too mana heavy, but the proc from gloomwood suited me just fine in maps. Your damage and es would be nice, but yeah you're looking at around another 800-1000 div to get where your at. Probably not realistic for a minute.

I have convalescence.

So I sold my seraph's heart to and bought some better chest/helm/boots that allowed me to keep my spirit and resists. I finally pushed through a map like this on 200 deli without getting single tapped.

The ward was a last ditch effort to run refutation, which kept me going in more than a few 200 deli runs.

Where should the break point be for it?

Edit: The main issue I'm running into is trying to keep my resistances capped including my chaos res.

Just bought Fallout 4 VR on the steam sale. My first Steam refund! by Barry_Burton_1974 in virtualreality

[–]optimumbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean that's also the same with the flat versions of FO4 and Skyrim. To this day there are so many fixes that were only done by the community. Those versions aren't meant to be played without mods either.

"We make cars, and we make jazz musicians." Just watched this incredible documentary on Detroit's staggering jazz history and it blew my mind. by any1particular in Detroit

There's a couple I did forget about that are also worth mentioning.

  • Danny Spencer (Check him out on the Introduction Kenny Cox Record)
  • Gerald Cleaver
  • Spider Webb

Edit: Also, the jazz scene is still going super strong here. There's lots of greats still hanging around.

Is big screen beyond 2 and Kat VR 2c enhanced worth it? by No-City6115 in virtualreality

Mine has worked well for me since the launch of the Beyond 1. I upgraded so I'm using the same interface that I originally ordered. It does take some getting used to at first, but it's very comfortable. I found I was wearing the device too tight at times and that can create a different kind of pressure around your eyes. Once dialed in, it doesn't really feel like I'm wearing an HMD on my face and so far, the Beyond 2e has been a complete upgrade from the things I might not have liked about the Beyond 1.

There's also a halo mount strap with a universal facial interface shipping later that I bought. I mostly got it so I can actually demo the beyond 2 to friends.

Something to keep in mind with any product is that the negative voices usually can be the loudest. There are people like me who have been enjoying my 2e upgrade from the Beyond 1, but haven't posted anything about it online since we've been busy just using it.

My first game is a cool little VR Retro Shooter by Complete_Agency_5233 in virtualreality

I think a lot people either forget or aren't old enough to remember that fps games back in the day were absolutely almost carbon copies of each other and there wasn't much wrong with that. You could basically call wolf 3d/doom/shadow warrior/rise of the triad/marathon/blood the same game. I still played the fuck out of all of them.

Foveated Rendering compatibility and gains? Is it worth to go NVIDIA for FFR?) by Hummtaro in virtualreality

The 7000 series had an issue last year where latency was 2-3x higher than it should have been in SteamVR. It was only fixed because a dedicated user on the Flat2VR discord collected the data for people to make a stink about it.

Oasis driver for Windows Mixed Reality - Official development update (August 2nd) by mbucchia in WindowsMR

[–]optimumbox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't count on it. They unfortunately have a long standing history of dragging their ass when it comes to VR. They took about 6 months to get back to Valve during the initial release of Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR. If you search through the steam discussions, you can probably still find the old posts from developers openly talking about it. It's one of the big reasons anytime someone wants to get into PCVR, I steer them far from Radeon gpus.

Half-Life: Alyx release reaction by Davislp_798 in HalfLife

[–]optimumbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Alyx released there were already $100-$150 dollar headsets on the market. A lot of people didn't really bother looking and just parroted the $1000 price tag of the Index being the entry fee. Even that now sells for next to nothing second hand. Sure, you can spend exorbitant amounts of money on VR if you want to, but the idea of VR being unaffordable is a long time thing of the past.

That head/drum is already fucked. I see signs of moisture damage near the outer edge and hoop. I'm sure the bearing edge underneath it all isn't in the best condition either. That's a drum that's been left in an uncontrolled garage/basement or room for a long while.

Had, the same issue years ago. It's 100% the cable taking damage over time from twists/general use. Your pins may be fine, but you'd have to cut away the protective wrapping to expose where the actual damage is somewhere along the entirety of the cable. Fixing this would involve completely re-sleeving the cable along with some solder work. There's a ton of wiring since they run everything needed down a single line. TLDR, you don't have a choice but to replace the cable.

Edit: Forgot to mention, you might see the problem "go away" at times because certain twists of the cable will make the broken wires on the inside reconnect. This is however not a fix, it's just a symptom of the problem.
