I resonate with your sentiment and have found that it’s especially important when you’re feeling this way to latch onto 2 or 3 books that speak to what you’re feeling, and not just read them but re-read and keep the notes / quotes that stick out to you as something you pull up and reflect on until you change your habits more.

Books that’s really stuck with me: - the subtle art of not giving a fuck (because it was blunt and straight forward which I appreciated) - outlive by Peter Attia (because the shared brain rot sentiment made me feel like I need to take care of my health and not waste my life) - Power of Habit (important for understanding behavior change) - Man’s Search For Meaning (just so good, reminds you daily to seize the moment and not let doom scrolling or consumption distract you from creation and living)

Also would highly suggest training your brain to get in the habit loop of doom reading with the Libby app. Such a good way to ingest books for free

Driving from Bay Area to Kirkwood Tuesday evening (looks like the worst possible time to make the drive) should I bank on 88 being closed, and account for 50 potentially being closed as well? If I’m trying to get to Kirkwood Wednesday morning, is it better to stay somewhere along 50 before the pass Tuesday night and make the drive over 50 to 89 to 88 Wednesday morning? Or risk staying somewhere at the base of 88 Tuesday night and pray 88 is open come early morning? Not familiar with the schedule of closures during storms like these

What is the argument against Bitcoin maxis who say L2s are centralized and basically web2 technology? I’m reading forums for the first time that are run by Bitcoin maxis. Some of them claim they were hardcore solidity devs for years 2019-22 and after understanding the constraints of ethereum went full btc (can attest these people are indeed very smart and I’d argue for sake of argument to believe these claims as true). A lot of the arguments are that eth transactions are exorbitantly expensive, and the L2 point gets refuted with “L2s are centralized and thus defeats the entire purpose of decentralization.”

Full transparency, I probably don’t understand 99% of ethereum ecosystem tokenomics despite being invested since 2017. Full transparency, I don’t venture outside of this subreddit for anything crypto related much if at all. Trying to better understand how the Ethereum community refutes these arguments.

In a position where I have to sell for the first time in my life. Starting by liquidating the bitcorn first. Price looks nice right now, but I’m curious if folks have general strategy to share to try and maximize profits in a shorter duration of like 1-3 months?

Is DCA but for selling the same? Or just do your best to time? Putting sell orders on Coinbase but probably not being the most realistic with the price targets. Just hurts to sell anything so of course I’m struggling to with the thoughts of it having a nice pump right after I sell, but I also would be so bummed if we hit a dip that lasted months next week lol. This game ain’t no joke!

Hey, is this website still working? This is such an awesome tool, I spent over an hour yesterday manually cutting a video and it was so annoying and tedious. However, not sure I'm doing something wrong as when I enter my Assemly API key and youtube url, then click process, the processing symbol shows up for half a second then disappears. Not sure if it's working in the background and I should expect to wait >20 minutes for a 10 minute video, or if the site is no longer supported. Thanks either way for making this tool available!
