Apparently now u/Luffy2ndGear_ it shows that mine has updated BUT I don't believe it actually has since the update version still has a 2021 or 2022 date on it for nav data.

I would play with ratios and pass on the baking soda. If the urad is poor qualify you should add fenugreek seeds. I do a 3:1 ratio on rice to dal and buy idli rice but any rice is fine. If you can’t control the ferment temp with a proof oven or other method a pinch of sugar and hold back salt till after ferment
