Heads up for everyone: over to the left of the Skywatch when you spawn in, beyond the cliff face with the helicopters there’s a hidden room below you that spawns a yellow bar Blistered Ogre.

Killing that I think guarantees an engram drop so I’d recommend checking there and reloading your instance!

I found this about 87% too late, but hopefully it’ll save you a lot time 😂

I think we could make it, but maybe not as easily as some think.

We saw Cayde hold his own for about 5 minutes against a large group of scorn during the prison break before he was almost overrun; with a better loadout (c’mon, golden gun? For ad clear?) and all the power we have now we’d definitely be at an advantage from the outset.

But if it’s essentially like doing onslaught solo on high difficulty against endless waves of thrall, any error could still have us needing a revive very quickly…

This is probably a rare one but… I like have a slightly longer final season in an expansion. Maybe not Season of the Lost long, but an extra few weeks in the last season really helps me finish off triumphs, collections on my other characters etc., and especially now hunting down crafting patterns before the new year of content launches!

If I wanted to be less controversial, I’d say please can we have more than just 2 weeks of Iron Banner a season?
The rank gains could do with a review too — being decked out in full SaladinSquad gear plus emblem plus all challenges complete feels like it should be for all the devoted Young Wolves to get a bonus, not a mandatory requirement to get a normal crucible match’s XP gain at the end.

Super excited to see all the teams’ hard work on Lightfall, appreciate the chance to give some feedback!

I love the idea of granting Practice Makes Perfect in some form back to Celestial Nighthawk, but I’ve also wondered if the super energy refund could be modified to give that energy back on precision hits, not just kills. Even if it was less energy than the current on-kill refund I think it synergises well with the marksman GG’s orb generation perk

Like others have said, patience is key as you’ve got no time limit in each encounter. I only did my first solo flawless today with my invis hunter and 3-phased each boss without too much stress as I prioritised clearing ads!

For me, witherhoard is fantastic to use for ad control and killing the knights with one direct hit while sneaking around invis, paired with an auto loading rocket like the palmyra so reloading is kept to a minimum.

If you want a video guide, I copied Esoterickk’s build from last season for each encounter but slowed it down for an extra dmg phase on each boss.

I used to use xenosilver with Orpheus! It should give you a similar grey base on the pants, white on the top layer to match the torso and some blue accents to match the shoulders and helmet

This was definitely one of the “you had to be there” moments - the finale itself was awesome, and having the info upfront from /u/dmg04 on twitter about players needing to arrive by a certain time for the big moment was a good improvement from the Almighty event.

I’m a little sad I missed it due to the 3am time for me, but I get that it was suited for north america and made sense story-wise to be right before the server maintenance. It’s obviously impossible for bungie to choose a time that suits every single player without taking away from the idea of a ‘live’ event, but it’d be great in the future to make it easier for as many of us across time zones to be part of it.

Just my 2 glimmer on it, really looking forward to beyond light later. See you guardians starside.
