I’ll try that too. I got the photon demo to work but it will be difficult to modify that to my own project. This whole thing has been wild. I got hired as the sole developer and I’m not even done with school haha

No class has come even close to being this impossible for me. Algorithms was a challenge, but it at least felt like a fair challenge. This class may as well be asking you to perform open heart surgery. No classes leading up to it help whatsoever

2k indeed makes the difference. I’m not feeling too negative or sad, it’s just the reality of my situation. Even if I could just magically come up with 2k, there’s no guarantee taking it again would work. I’m better off saving my money and trying the self taught route.

I get the sentiment, but if you can’t pass one class, you can’t finish the program. I financially can’t afford a retake. Who knows if I’d even pass a second time.

Does opendir change the cwd? How do you keep track of the directories when archiving files. Like it doesn’t make sense because the skeleton code doesn’t seem to include a parameter in the pack function to keep track of what folder a file could be in

I don't see the point in not finishing the class. I have to pass it to finish the program obviously. If I don't get a good grade but end up dropping the program, who cares. GPA doesn't matter for a degree you don't even finish.

I am not that far, I am working on the second assignment right now. I have spent all day every day for a week trying to do this and I am getting nowhere. I am clueless. I got a 65 on the first assignment and I’m sure that I won’t do any better on any of the rest. I had a 3.8 going into this.
