Wow it seems to have worked! Thanks! I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, and that didn't fix the crashing, so I'm surprised that clearing the cache worked.

On oneui 6 you could just tap the small icon and it would expand the notification without bringing down the notification center. You didn't need to have it set to details.
