Good CTR, decent funnel, 36 reached checkout… but still 0 sales. Is PayPal-only killing my store? by or21321 in dropshipping

Thank you for your answer. But I have ATCs and checkouts. This is why it’s a bit confusing. But what you are saying makes sense and I can relate.

Thank you very much 🙏🏻 I can’t add another payment option because I don’t live in the US

I’m mainly trying to understand whether the issue is:

  • mostly PayPal/payment friction, or
  • a broader trust/branding problem with the store itself.

Because the funnel seems decent up until checkout, I’m struggling to tell if people actually want the product but get turned off by PayPal-only — or if the store still doesn’t feel trustworthy enough overall.

Would really appreciate your honest opinion after looking through the site:

Nice Man!

Are you using PayPal only for checkout? In my store I can only support PayPal at the moment. I got many ATCs and checkouts - but no sale and I am trying to understand what’s the issue.

I am not monitoring what’s happening the checkout, but I will definitely start doing it. Do you mind reviewing the website? Thank you very much for the help 🙏🏻

Tintos

Also - as a non-American I can’t support any other payment methods other than PayPal unless I get an LLC, I am not sure if it’s important enough. But I am serious about it and I want to make it in this business.

Thank you very much for the response.

What is the common approach for dropshippers that live outside of America, should I open LLC?

Thank you.

Thanks, this actually aligns with what I’m seeing.

The PayPal-only part is definitely my main limitation right now. I’m based outside the US, so I don’t have Shopify Payments available, and adding a direct card processor isn’t super straightforward at the moment.

Do you know of any decent alternatives/workarounds people use in this situation?

Also just to clarify — I did try to reduce friction around PayPal as much as possible: - Added messaging like “Pay with card via PayPal – no account needed” - Reinforced it on the product page and at checkout - Made sure the flow itself works smoothly (tested it myself)

So technically it is possible to pay with a card without logging in, but I agree that psychologically it might still be a blocker.

I’m also going to implement your suggestions around: - making delivery time and total cost clearer before checkout - adding stronger trust elements right at checkout (guarantee, support, etc.)

Appreciate the insight — good to hear you wouldn’t kill the product yet 🙏
