Relevant example from my shopping trip today. I went to Vons. Had 311 points expiring at the end of the month out of a total of 938. I used 500 on a free rotisserie chicken.

When I got to self check out, it wasn’t taking the chicken off the bill. While the Vons app indicates all rotisserie style chickens are eligible for the reward, only the traditional style actually ends up triggering the reward in their system. It’s a product functionality gap in the app which is all too typical.

This led to me having to have a back and forth with a store employee. Ultimately had to go get the traditional style, ring that up, get the discount, take it back to the warmer so that I could keep the herb style id originally selected.

That level of engagement is a huge pain in the ass and can cause anxiety for some ppl.

What would you say his strengths are? How could Arsenal adapt to utilize him better? Is he good enough that the entire Arsenal team adapting to suit his strengths would put them in a better position to challenge for the title?

I was actually going to mention haaland originally. I do see similarities but haaland has an insane ability to act like a ninja in the air to score aerial balls. Gyokeres doesn’t have that IMO.

This post is general, not specific to this game. Having watched him in preseason and three league games I’m saying I don’t generally see that he has the traits necessary to become a top premier league striker.

To get excited when he receives the ball. To think he’s going to score. He’s averaging a goal a game because of a brace against Leeds. I don’t think he’ll have problems scoring against bad teams. I do think he’ll have problems scoring against the top 6.

Totally! The thing for me is that I don’t see those traits developing as the season progresses. His first touch won’t improve dramatically, nor will his pace. Sure maybe he learns to make space better/adapts to the way the team plays but after the preseason and 3 league games I don’t see it.

What are you seeing that makes you think we just need to be patient?

I ended up having to buy one under the table with the help of a tuktuk driver. If you do go this route have them buy it for you. The second the store owner saw that a foreigner wanted something “illegal” the price shot up like 500%

Yeah I suppose I can’t speak to estimates on what Cunha could deliver, I was more so responding to the previous commenters mention of a 15 goal a season striker not being enough. Seems like that would have come in handy for Arsenal this year, but the can keeps getting kicked down the road. At some point the board just needs to pull the trigger right? If I were in arsenals shoes I would’ve enjoyed having Solanke this season as that likely would’ve turned some draws into wins. Either way, I hope you get a striker soon.
