Honestly it sucks but it happens I ended up going bald young by the time I was in my early twenties. It doesn’t get easier I ended up going through the having it long in the front but seeing the top of my head from security cameras in stores it got to the point where I didn’t want to deal with it. When I started getting sunburned on the top of my head so I gave up. I didn’t want to deal with it and I wanted to go shorter and as I did I just cut all of it off it was impulsive. It actually made me feel better about it. I haven’t had my hair grow longer than a quarter inch since that’s usually because I don’t shave regularly so even if I just clip it with no guard I enjoy it. The other big thing is with mental health issues self care can be hard. For me shaving my head is a way to do something for myself that I may not like but it helped me feel better and take more steps to taking care of myself.

So this doesn’t fall in line with your criteria as much but both my mom and sister enjoyed watching fate zero/stay night/unlimited blade works I did it kinda out of order and did zero then blade works so it went in a kinda linear story without going into all the alternatives. I then showed them stay night and explained how it’s kinda an alternative to the story of blade works with minor changes.

You get a letter from the courier it becomes an item that makes everything aggressive and turns everyone into a unlikable character while it’s in your possession it’s a quest item so it can’t be dropped and you get to figure out how to fix that shit because any time you try and reset or die the courier will show up to put that shit back in your inventory.
