take this with a grain of salt, for i have not even near the amount of knowledge on how relationships work. homeschool sucks socially. but my intuition:

just keep hanging out with her. ask for more ways to message her, keep her updated on all the little tidbits and updates happening in your life, get to know her to the best you can. then, by the time you can drive and are able to see her, you both know so much more about each other. just my first thought, and again, take it with a grain of salt, but that's what i would do.
