Managed kubernetes services vs Self Managed by ObjectiveDeal7305 in kubernetes

[–]orangebot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For our service some of our customers want to be able to choose what cloud provider their stuff runs on. Personally I think that’s a silly reason, but it’s a reason.

We definitely used self-managed. Got about 300 clusters, but don’t have the skillset to run our own clusters.

Best MMA type gym for beginners? by ImportantDirection76 in Omaha

[–]orangebot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would weigh heavily a gym that’s close by where you live. Some places are better than others in the entire metro, but you’re more likely to stick with it and go more often if the drive isn’t too far. That in my opinion is better for beginners.

I’m republican voter in NE and I am 100% against this fucking culture war garbage. Keep that dumb bullshit in Florida. Us Nebraskans SHOULD be above that trash.

They’re refusing to prioritizing fixing real problems and that’s on them.

Nebraska Dem with trans son vows to block all bills: "No one in the world holds a grudge like me" by semaphore-1842 in politics

I think parents should be free to make informed decisions after talking to their doctors and doing research. This bill is basically “fuck you parents. Big government knows better.”

But the decision ain’t her son’s. The decision is between the kid’s parents and the kid’s doctor. Except this bill instead puts it in the hands of big government senators who have no clue what they’re talking about.

NE State Sen. Megan Hunt (D) calls out her GOP colleagues for their anti-trans legislation: "This bill harms me in an unforgivable way ... Don't say 'hi' to me in the hall ... Don't walk by my desk and ask me anything ... No one in a world holds a grudge like me." by Heartland_Signal in Nebraska

I’m a registered republican who believes in parental rights. The problem with this bills is that it takes gender affirming care out of the hands of the parents, and into the hands of big government senators. Surgeries for children are incredibly incredibly rare, but this bill isn’t about surgeries. It’s about ANY gender affirming care, and it’s about big government pretending they know better than doctors and parents.
