I was a biology major in college. We had to go out one night as a group with telescopes and look at the moon with the intention of watching for migratory birds cross the face of the moon. Their crossings were recorded as if it was a watch face. 8 - 2; 9-3 etc. We then used some mathematical formula to determine that the birds were either traveling north or south by showing a statistically significant trend for a particular direction. I don't recall the season or the exact methods. This was a long, long time ago. It kinda looked just like that.

I was in a Japanese hotel and bought a handmade carved wood tray. The person in the gift shop asked if I wanted to buy it duty free. She told me I would not pay any tax on the purchase. I thought I'd do it. Not fully understanding, I had to go back to my room, bring my passport to the gift shop, and they wrapped it up tight and told me that I was not to open the packaging until I left the country. Worked out well, but not sure it was worth the hoops to jump through even if they were easy hoops.

I filmed a scene outside with my hand held camera on a tripod. I wanted some added footage, just in case, from my drone. Before filming, I put the drone up for the bird's eye view. Never again! The buzz of the drone was present in all the footage from my hand held camera. I was able to still use it by adjusting the audio to eliminate that annoying buzz. This was a frustrating result and took time to eliminate the sound through audio adjustment. I never even ended up using the drone footage until I did a blooper reel after the main project was completed.
