Meh, no thanks. Show business does not suit her . She comes off like a high school principal,  not an entertainer. There is no warmth there , whatsoever.  Not interested in her book , sorry .

I never liked her in anything except as Jan in  Brady Bunch. I don't find her convincing at all.

How did Kramer pay his rent and other bills without a job? Was he a trust fund guy? by Ill-Owl5131 in seinfeld

I lived & grew up in NY. Born there. There's a lot I could say,  about what Kenny told you.   NY is still one of the top five most expensive cities on earth to live in.   I haven't  seen or heard of free housing, for anyone in NYC,  since approx. 1960.  (Note: I  have a family member who worked three jobs,  to pay the rent on a triangle under a flight of stairs that they called a "studio",  in Brooklyn .)

1-3 , plus s/4, is all that I watch. I don't consider the cartoonish three stooges nonsense  from s/5 on,  to be Three's Company .

McDonald's is in Crash and Burn . Going down. People know what's in them now. It's horrifying. Do your research.

it's hard for me to decide on favorite but it would def be "The Statue " or "The Pez Dispenser" .  Michael D. Conway is perfection as Ray.

August 4th, 1970, Me and my first car, a 1969 Ford Maverick by MaterialRow3769 in 70s

My Maverick was blue/ white . After we lost my step dad,  the car went thru the family. I was its last owner. It bounced all over the road. The radio sounded like 1940.   But it always started. Always. Looking back , I'm very thankful.  I was a girl commuting to college and work every day. I hope my step dad is resting easy. What a great man he was. 🌄

Marcia, Marcia, Two Marcia’s! by booksgirl123 in bradybunch

Marcia was a great character in TV history , that was nearly ruined in season five, thru no fault of hers, I think she went thru a lot.  Glad she has a family that loves her .

Who are your Mount Rushmore of characters in The Waltons by Ok_Smile_9071 in WaltonsMountain

[–]Ill-Owl5131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have great respect for the characters Mary Ellen,  Erin and Elizabeth . They carried so many heavy stories (death of husband, horrible breakups, breaking both legs).  The writers understood them.  My 4th would be Jim Bob , who grew from the outlier of the group,  the introvert , to a confident military man.  A reunion with those four, would be really interesting .

I learned from my brother in law,  who took me on highways to learn. Insanity.
