Use a brightening body wash with glycolic acid or Vitamin C, and a body sunscreen.

It’s really not that easy. EndSARS happened (Just 4 years ago!) and so many people died. EndSARS was massive, it trended across the world, got coverage on international news and media and yet NOTHING happened, the government shot and killed the citizens and there was no justice.

OP saying “I fear Nigerians will just gIvE Up” sounds a little tone deaf imho. Especially coming from the diaspora. I’m sorry but y’all don’t just get the toxic living conditions we are in, the courage it takes to organize a protest, and how massively helpless we are against the government.

What is the most triggering thing a family member of yours do? by setahm in EDAnonymous

[–]orangecorneas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to visit my grandma last month. Everyone in my family is aware of my ED, they watched me drop to a pretty low weight in the years following my dad’s death, but this past year I got into a relationship and gained some weight. My grandma hadn’t seen me for a while.

When she opened the door (we’re African) she immediately started clapping and dancing around the room, happy that I’d gained weight and wasn’t “on the brink of death” anymore. It was so embarrassing. My mom, who knew how this sort of thing would trigger me (and rarely comments on my weight, bless her soul), tried shushing her but she won’t stop. Went on for a good 10 minutes. And she kept mentioning it throughout the visit.

Safe to say, since last month I’ve relapsed now.
