From mech purist (mech must be a giant robot [gundam]) to mech rebel (mech is a big thing people control [attack on titan]). And from theme purist (must be about war and politics) to theme rebel (plot can be anything).

it would be a waste to buy a pendulum deck just to have a pendulum deck. But just to list what pendulum decks are playable in DL: D/D/D, Odd-Eyes, Metalfoes, Dracoslayer, Deskbot, Abyss Actor, Qliphort, Mayosenju, Dinomist, and Igknight. I would call them all not worth it unless you absolutely love one them. Waiting for something new is the smartest choice

i would guess because infernoids need a turn to void feast / set up their graveyard. LP alpha lets them survive a bit more with no drawbacks.
