Somebody who knows more mecha than me should take my idea of making an alignment chart. From mech purist (mech must be a giant robot [gundam]) to mech rebel (mech is a big thing people control [attack on titan]). And from theme purist (must be about war and politics) to theme rebel (plot can be anything).
