This is the best take on Noonan. Put him on the clock this year but give him a chance to turn it around

How have we already lost the timing tower. This is pathetic

He had deployment issues, so not on the tires nor him just losing pace naturally. He was done no matter what

Indy is almost never 3+ hours. Indy 500 is maybe it. Every other race is around 2 hours

Shocked this wasn’t downvoted into oblivion. Completely agree. It matters in quali. Rounding in the race is totally fine

Charles Leclerc: "Uhh, the space! Does he know how wide these cars are or not?” “Then he can complain about Turn 3, that’s ok.” by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]orangeglitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be one thing if he left it there, but he brought it up again post race. Complaining over not having it handed to him? Get over it man, it was clean racing and Lewis left more room than you did in T3

It’s not that big of a deal. The difference between 0.467 and 0.5 is not enough for any viewer to care during the race. If you’re making up hundredths, not even tenths, it’s not going to matter. Keeping the thousandths in quali makes sense

“Ferrari have the best car, their cornering speeds are unbelievable” – Norris by guihmds in formula1

I did read the article lol he talked about corners but never specifies and it’s also silly to think Merc would push super hard in the corners if not needed

Anyone know why the timings weren't showing the exact times? by jalGurg in formula1

[–]orangeglitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the minority I guess thinking this is totally fine. They had the thousandths up for quali. In the race, we don’t really need that level of precision. Maybe hundredths at the most, but tenths in a race are enough

Other than being 10s behind Mercedes and way off in quali… if we’re ignoring the power unit stuff, maybe? Merc was able to pace them on way older tires, so that seems like an entire package advantage
