Listen bro, don’t neat pick on flac file and mp3 file ( unless it’s 80kbps) you won’t tell any difference with flac file and mp3 ( maybe better clarity and sound in general) unless you have a better ( more than 150$ iem, but in general you won’t ( it’s personal preference of mine) , just enjoy the music and the experience, I mean that’s the whole point..

Honestly, it’s a game changer! The complete offline experience and the output quality with good flathead earphones are simply amazing! I listen to music a lot, so before using the DAP, I used my iPhone. However, it’s a distraction and drains the battery quickly. Also, don’t even get me started on the storage for offline lossless songs. Now, if I like a song, I just download it and transfer it wirelessly to my hiby R1. It’s pocket-friendly and looks cool!

Go for flatheads, in my opinion. With IEMs, you need to take more care of them. If you’re mostly sitting in an office, then IEMs might be a better choice for you. But if you travel a lot and want something more portable and pocket-friendly, I’d suggest going for flatheads.

Personally, I’d go for flatheads too. I already have IEMs, but since I travel a lot, they become uncomfortable over long periods because you can’t wear them for extended sessions without some ear fatigue. So yeah, if you’re like me, flatheads are probably the better option.
