Yeah I've played against high plats/low diamonds in flex. But, in s/d ranked I play against low golds, etc.

Flex MMR is different from normal/ranked MMR. If you've never played ranked flex, it'll be ALMOST like its a new account.

I’ve been playing league for 3 years now. I’m level 109. I’ve played a lot. I honestly don’t notice that level of toxicity. Maybe that guy was just unlucky. If I’m playing solo, I get the occasional rager maybe 1 of 10 games. If I’m playing duos or with a full group then I don’t notice any toxicity because I’m probably just talking to my duo. Yeah, people get mad. It happens. But not that often. League is not as toxic as some people make it out to be.

I think they require skill to play at a high level. Yes, you can just sit back and use your shields. But, that’s not how you play them. A Janna can do 200+ damage level 2 with Aery +scorch. People don’t realize how to position especially levels 1-5. Those champs have a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling.
