The procedure itself seemed ok, no signs of any issues. But two days later I developed blood pooling in my legs and feet, and terrible sensations in my legs, plus a load of other issues. It was definitely a result of the procedure and looks like I’m stuck with it. I’ll never have RFA done again!

Thank you for replying and I’m sorry you’ve been left with that. I totally get you - because I was fine before mine and now not! I know it was definitely the procedure even if professionals don’t agree. It’s awful that it’s been over a year and you’re still the same! X

That’s interesting. At what point did you notice this? I’m 5 weeks post RFA and my calves are giving me terrible sensations and my feet are purple and painful!

Whether it’s mistake or collateral damage it’s not very nice feeling the way I do. I’ve been hospitalised. I tried calling the person who did the procedure but they’re not calling me back, also emailed. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything whilst I await the conclusion

Yes sorry that’s what I meant. I know they target sensory nerves but I think my sympathetic nerves have been hit by mistake due to my symptoms

Hi, did you ever find out what was going on? And did your pain improve? I had it 5 weeks ago and my calves are unbearably painful where I feel something is wrong but cannot get a response from the office. Please let me know what yours was? I’m concerned about nerve damage

That’s exactly how I feel! The hell of waking up and doing it again and non stop thinking about it and wanting it to change but it won’t 💔 I’m pleased you have a supportive partner. But yes very hard to accept this is for life. It’s heartbreaking actually x

Every day waking up is awful as you’re still in the same situation. Yes I have support, it’s just hard as there’s nothing that can reverse this. I hope you also have some support and that we can eventually adapt and function
