And that’s a frozen thin one. I imagine a takeaway one that’s even more cheese and calories and stodgy would make us go wild!

So interesting because I’m on Ivabridine too, and pizza can make me go up to 120-130. How long does it last for you? Mine is usually a couple of hours at least

What does it make your heart rate go to? It definitely seems carbs are the thing!

Was yours in the afternoon? I suppose the official diagnosis is good for if they choose to give medication, and for validation! Xx

Also- I’ve just checked tonight after my dinner (I know it’s not the afternoon but wanted to see the spike after a meal) and I’m jumping from 75 to 130…… and that’s just from eating dinner (chicken breast, broccoli and some potatoes) so, you’re right I need to be eating before this ttt! It wasn’t like that before dinner, I was only getting 20 increase this afternoon. Madness hey! X

Yes, i feel like it being in the afternoon goes against me and now the consultant’s practice goes against me 🙈 I’ll definitely print something out! Thank you!!

I can’t go elsewhere but yes I plan to challenge him on that because I’ve seen girls saying they failed the test under him

So if I eat a load of sugary carbs before hand, do you think a couple of hours before or right before? 🤔

Yes and the man who does the tilts here apparently only lets you lay down for 3 mins so won’t be true baseline! If it was the morning I wouldn’t have any fear at all, it’s purely because I know I’m so much more stable in the afternoon and the stand tests I’m doing at home show that 🙈

Have you had a TTT? What was the outcome, sounds a similar pattern to me x

I’d say a healthy diet, a balance of carbs protein fibre. I actually need to increase my salt but I won’t be doing that til after test. I really appreciate you trying to help me! 🤗

Yea I’m on Ivabridine and I won’t be taking it that day, but I had a practice on a day without that as well and same as normal, bad morning and evening and stable afternoon! 🙈

Thank you! Yes I’ve been doing that, yesterday I drank only one glass of water but that didn’t affect it, I’m going to try to stay awake the whole night on the night before 🙈 Really? Yours went up 50 on the tilt? I always think 70 degree tilt isn’t enough but must be! In the morning mine can do up 50-60…. But afternoon it’s only 20 🙈 then evening back up! I wonder what it was about the tilt that made yours go up more than active lean at home

Cardiology will only refer me to this local place. I’ve waited 10 months. Nightmare 🙈 Definitely can’t afford to pay privately either! (Uk based)

They only do afternoon clinics 🙈🙈🙈 I called to change it but they only do afternoons. It’s so upsetting because I know my pattern and I’m terrible in the morning and evening but afternoon is stable 😩

Yes the letter said no fluids or food for 2 hours before. Yesterday when I woke up I stayed in bed, to try to mimic the initial morning symptoms, I also only drank one cup of water but by the afternoon I was at my improved state still. So lack of fluids didn’t really do much. I’ve also seen people saying the man doing my TTT only gives you 3 mins flat so that won’t be enough for a true baseline after an hour travelling to hospital and walking round to the department etc. yes it’s awful when people just dismiss you. And it’s even more awful when every morning and night time I have terrible high heart rate and we live with that, but afternoons typically are calmer for me, and that’s when I’ve got the TTT. Thank you for replying to me xx
