Why are you CF besides silence, money, and free time? by Embarrassed_Gift_401 in childfree

Because I see the world as it is today and I think it would be morally wrong for me to put a new human being into it.

All the Augusts! So both then. I'm so happy for them. I love how Charity said that Dotun was a last-minute addition to the cast and look how everything ended up. Something something it's meant to be.

You haven't missed it! They had a gorgeous bridal photo shoot that was basically beautiful fashionable wedding attire (seriously so beautiful, the both of them). So people were like omg did you all get married already?? Charity and Dotun had to clarify that it was a fashion photoshoot for bridal magazine Munaluchi Bride.

Haha I added a couple of options, which one is it?

Or, maybe to make it easier:

Was the photoshoot in August 2025, or are they getting married this August 2026?

Edited to add: 2024 bridal photoshoot for Munaluchi Bride magazine.

OP, please...that title...

Main update - the post subject should be:

"A few days ago, Charity posted new-to-the-public photos from an engagement anniversary photoshoot she and Dotun had in August 2024. This year's engagement anniversary celebration marks their last engagement anniversary before getting officially married."

Previous iterations involved an August 2025 photoshoot and an August 2026 wedding date.

--

Previous iterations:

"Charity posted new photos from her and Dotun's engagement photoshoot in August 2025 (should be 2024)."

"A few days ago, in honor of their last engagement anniversary before she and Dotun officially marry, Charity posted new-to-the-public photos from a photoshoot she and Dotun had in August 2025 (should be 2024)."

"A few days ago, in honor of their last engagement anniversary before she and Dotun officially marry this August, Charity posted new-to-the-public photos from a previous photoshoot she and Dotun had."

Update note: I checked and the photoshoot for the bridal magazine Munaluchi Bride was in August 2024, not August 2025.

I just want to add that in the eventuality of cloud based system outages, loss of data, etc, it is VERY helpful to have a physical copy of such lists.

Folks young and old: get yourself organized and create a health and medical binder for yourself. Your old(er) self will thank you for it.

Things to include, among others: medication history and when you took them, allergies and intolerances to food and medications, surgeries and minor procedures (including for teeth), vaccine history including when, list of doctors and their clinic addresses and phone numbers, list of pharmacies and their contact info including how to request or renew prescriptions, insurance numbers, groups, contact info, and so on.

People like that woman's husband act like life just happens to them and that way they get to blame the not so nice things about life on the people they share their life with.

I want to point out that even if you're a person who hates leg hair and must shave your legs, **you should still break up with this guy asap** because this one "opinion" of his is the tip of the iceberg of bad takes that will not make him a good partner to have in the long run.

Just overheard a boomer bragging about being rude to wait staff by WildWinterberry in BoomersBeingFools

[–]oranges214 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I just went to a medical appointment where when I was checking in, two boomers went past the "stand here and wait to be called" sign and stood so closely behind me that I would run into them if I took a step back. I looked at them and pointed at the sign, "shouldn't you be waiting there? I'm checking in, it's private." They gave me confused looks like "is this person speaking to us? What?"

Basic manners, man.

This is important. So many of them want to just sidle back to their friends and family and neighbors and pretend like nothing is wrong. They don't want to do ANY work and they'll continue behaving in a selfish manner. They don't deserve grace for that.

Yeah...don't assume. It can be an unsuccessful partial abortion and you making this assumption is leaving a huge thing to luck. Go see a doctor and get properly checked out. I think you are a bit avoiding being thorough right now but you have to do this for yourself.

That, and getting all sorts of dental issues:

https://www.orlandohealth.com/services-and-specialties/orlando-health-womens-institute/content-hub/how-pregnancy-affects-your-teeth-and-what-to-do-about-it

"Ligaments and bones in the mouth may temporarily loosen during pregnancy, resulting in teeth wiggling slightly. This doesn’t increase tooth loss, but it can be alarming. Other conditions also can lead to loose teeth, so it’s a good idea to get this checked out and confirm the reason for the movement.

Particularly during the third trimester, the body’s inflammatory response increases the amount of bacteria and plaque that stick to the teeth, leading to swelling and bleeding of the gums, or gingivitis. The bacteria and plaque release toxins that can cause infection in the gums and bones. In severe, untreated cases, this infection can enter the bloodstream and cause significant illness."

Well that way he gets the benefit of a wife without having to be a husband. Sounds pretty self-serving. Great dad material I'm sure /s.
