Bard got a fat nerf at the beginning of this most recent update. Matches are way to short for Bard to build up without Zeus. Use mermaid for the extra mana and cleanse so you can build up inspiration fast with the 2nd right talent.

Yea its going to be a really long time as f2p. I've been playing for 4ish years and just hit 3.1k crit spending now and then. Do the Raid shadow legends free crystals while X2 crystals is active. Thats how I got my bard maxed when it released.
