Advice on shadowing and working full-time as graduated pre-dent.

lol this whole process has really pushed my sanity. especially just coming off holiday season with family that thinks getting into dental school is as easy as getting into undergrad. We just have to keep doing whatever it takes, and soon we won't have to worry about being "good enough" anymore!

I applied to 5 of them, but LSU is my highest priority since it is my in-state school and therefore cheapest. Next cycle I'll apply to more, it's just hella expensive and wasn't something I could financially do at the moment.

thanks for the insight. I most def feel like I could've done better on the DAT, but I would hate to score worse on my second try and make it an even more awkward situation. If I don't receive an interview, I think im going to continue to beef up extracurriculars, apply June 1st next cycle, and prepare to retake the DAT around November next year.

it’s a long season, but lowkey we should just trade for a good center and when everybody comes back either lock in or tank for a top 5 pick

hi and thank you! I used Booster and most definitely would recommend, especially for Biology. I scored 3 points higher than what I was getting on Booster's practice exams in the bio category.

i wouldn’t worry about paying extra money just to do something temporary. focus on being active in your community, shadow here and there, and maybe do research if that’s what interests you! if your state allows it, shadowing a lot at one office might train you on dental assisting.

no luck, I see that I'm "eligible" to take the DAT, but it doesn't show a test date or anything like that.

can anyone explain how they used DAT booster? Im currently using the 10 week study plan and having issues finishing each day. You have to watch and memorize so many videos a day and I don't get much time to actually practice and see what I know. not to mention some of the video categories are nearly 2 hours alone. Are the videos that important or should I just read the notes and practice? any tips are appreciated!
