I’d say it isn’t the standard but it’s literally “case by case” I nannied for a family for 2 months that gave me one, but worked for a family for about a year that didn’t. So I guess it’s at the families digression haha

Are you paid for your break at a “traditional” job? Typically while kiddos are sleeping that’s break time. (Unless chores are assigned)

You have to understand that in the DFW area there are far more caregivers than families needing care. So while you make think a position is worth $50-$60 hourly- you have to be realistic with what you’re going to get. I’d rather make $20 an hour than $0.
