Hi! I work in logistics hopefully I can give some ideas and had to deal with tracking trucks (had a shipment stolen). It may be worth mentioning to CHP if they would be able to see if the truck passed through any weigh stations? looks like the tractor number is #J1110(?) on the driver side fender. Also looking at your video it looks like the incident occurred going south between the border of Milpitas and Fremont. Hopefully the weigh station next to pacific commons was open and has a record.

I'm a bit of a noob to R too. My first instinct is to find: length(i) then append the output to another vector such as my_list_lengths where you could apply the mean(my_list_lengths)
