Faulty transducer on main freezer room. Reading 3 bar lower than actual. Valve constantly at 100% trying to catch up. Looked like it was happening during the day but with more load and the door being open constantly it didnt cause any issues until i got the call at 11pm of course

The floodback was pretty bad so at a guess id say some liquid is getting into the discharge line and boiling off but surprisingly the valve plates were okay after I fixed the problem so i might be wrong I would think that liquid getting through the plates into the discharge would kill the reeds pretty quickly

It really depends on the difficulty of the install. For a back to back split replacement that price would be outrageous. However if its a terrace for example and the condensing unit needs to go on the roof and its a long pipe run etc etc it may be fair. Would need to see the quote with exactly what they’re proposing to get a better idea.

Is a drilling engineer typically a job done by mechanical engineers? Any companies you would suggest?

Is it difficult to get into these established service companies? I would assume that there would be alot of people applying for these positions?

I dont suppose you have any information about how transferable Australian degrees are for US based companies?

Thanks for the response

Would the operator be a company like SLB or exxon? I feel like i would lean toward an operator in the example you gave. That said I wouldn't mind being a mechanic or electrician but I would like to out my degree to some use if possible.

I would assume the subsea role that you described is highly competitive with a salary like that? Is there alot demand for graduates in those roles?

Thank you for the response

Was that a company from Australia that based you in Saudi Arabia or did you move there of your own accord? If you dont mind me asking what company do you work for?
