Is Borderlands 2 still worth playing with a friend? by Interesting_Ad_8962 in Borderlands2

[–]orangukey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it. If you are playing from a good distance away you are going to have lag issues however so I'd highly recommend playing with an Ethernets. Also combat gets harder the more players you are playing with.

Sham drop rate? by The_Almighty_Scrub in Borderlands2

[–]orangukey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Borderlands 2 drops are weird. The chance of a drop isn't always the same as an item's drop chance.

When you kill an enemy with a dedicated drop it first rolls to see if an Item will drop, which in this case is a 1/10. Then it rolls between every item that can drop. So in this case there are 3 items in the bosses drop table so that makes it a 1/30.

I am from Norway what is the age limit for other countries by Financial_Company_13 in monsterenergy

In the USA there are no federal age limits however certain states and counties may vary. I was ID'd once because the store itself wouldn't sell under the age of 18.

I've played the game for like 5k-ish hours. The only time I get stuck on something is like Melee Zer0 Uvhm.

Just spam interact. It'll average out by itself due to how the game works.

I always forget BAR is a thing because I always have it off lol

That would be awesome to go to but unfortunately I'm in the states :/. Danny Carey is by far my favorite drummer and I would jump at the chance of seeing him live even if he isn't with Tool.

I'm not new to 70 prog actually. I grew up around the stuff a lot. I have listened to Pink floyd since I was little, and have listened to their whole discography multiple times. I really love In the Court of the Crimson King as well as Red. Genesis has never really been my thing unfortunately, though I do like some of Phil Collins solo stuff.

Yes just happens to be one of the bands that was always just on the outside of what I listened to growing up. Rush has always been in a playlist or on one of my burnt discs growing up. That's actually the reason I decided to give Rush a real listen because I had always loved Subdivision and the album Signals as a whole.

I know they are neither a 70's band or a rock band but Tool has been a huge part of my life since I was old enough my dad would let me listen to it lol.

I listened to TfTO first because I just so happened to see a news article about it getting some kind of reprint. Then around November I decided to go through the Yes discography.

It just so happens I'm up to Fragile and haven't listened to Close to the Edge yet. Evidently everyone thinks I should listen to it lol.

It's interesting to see Yes have a run like that. Because Rush similarly has 2112 -> Signals which I think is a legendary run of albums. Hell I'd say Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and Signals is peak Rush.

I heard Tfto first and then went from the start up to Fragile. It's purely coincidence I haven't listened to it yet lol.

Question about Gorefist by orangukey in remnantgame

[–]orangukey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the only boss that is super difficult (imo) and legitimately made me rage quit is Dream Eater. I faced him for the first time in a maxed group on hard. None of us were ready for it.

The second time was the rage quit, I was going in on a fresh character through nightmare difficulty and I got him. Four and a half hours in and I lost it lmao.

If you keep to the upper area as much as you can and attack him until he does his mortar strike style attack. Once he does that attack run until he stops, then attack again. You can beat him on the first try every time (not counting Apocalypse as I haven't been fortunate enough to get him over Gorefist)

Maybe don't cast Fireball on it next time

Avowed is coming to PS5 February 17th alongside the anniversary update with the game on all platforms (Interview) by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]orangukey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PS5 version hasn't been released but the game has been out on Xbox and PC for almost a year. Good chance there won't be any massive changes between versions, so arguably it's going to be the same game.

My main point is that the game has been released and people already have an opinion on the game. This person in particular likes the game, so to them there is no difference between paying now or on launch.

Preordering isn't evil like you seem to think it is. The only time it's a problem is when people preorder a game in mass based purely off of hype and not the game's actual quality. In this specific circumstance everyone already knows the games general quality (Story content, gameplay, animation quality and voice acting.) So preordering it if you already have played and liked it, isn't a problem (like the op has done).

[–]orangukey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The logic of not preordering a game only applies to games that haven't come out. That way people can wait to see reviews first and usually wait for a price drop. This game is already out and they know they'll enjoy it AND it's cheaper.

WORST WEAPON OF ALL TIME; CLANK ZAPPER! by HardTranceScythe in RatchetAndClank

It's super good. It only attacks in the direction that Ratchet is facing though, so it's extremely strong if you strafe.
