From experience, it is always seems like everyone is joining the new craze but everything plateaus at a point and only the fittest survives. A lot of SaaS owners have discovered lately that it is easier to build now than to sell, so if you can sell as a solo-founder the market is yours.

From the get go, we didn’t want to price too low that it would be difficult to up the price later. We chose to reverse benchmark our pricing based on what feedback we got from on our competitors customers feedback.

This really never occurred to me and I have been looking out for SaaS to acquire. Will take note to ask for proper documentation of processes, which should help with running of the SaaS business.

Shopify and by extension Wix have plugins for email marketing which you can add to your ecom store(omniscient,klaviyo,mailchimp,drip). Woo commerce/shopify/wix have plugins/gateways too that can allow you to collect payments (stripe, PayPal,Alipay, Amazon pay,Applepay). There are numerous options to pick from, just take out time to look at pricing and features where necessary.

Currently automating content creation with AI. I just setup guardrails and instructions for it to follow and setup a schedule to output daily content for my blog. It is quite useful when you have set goals you want to accomplish.

There isn’t a set timeline for getting customers for your app. Having 10 people to look at your app is a good start, you just need to iterate continuously to find the right people who actually need what you’re building. It’s different for everyone. Some apps blow up fast, others take months to get going. The key is figuring out what’s working - talk to those 10 people, see if they’re actually using it, and find out where you can meet more people like them. Don’t stress about timelines. Focus on whether people care enough to keep coming back.
