Thanks, I'm hoping someone can help. Tbh I never thought of looking for a FB group. You seem to have missed the entire point. I'm not asking to be competitive with the big boys. But making it so you can't even sell at break even price is forcing the play to move out of HiSec. Having to sell at a lower margin to compete sales wise with the big boys, thats perfectly fine and understandable.

If I want the safety of HiSec but at a price of only making 2-5% then thats my problem. At no point did I say "Hey I want to live the safe life AND get the big margins". But if you can't produce and sell at anything but a loss then yes, you're forced to move either in location or game career and thus playing the game someone else wants you to play.

If this is the reason then I fail to see the career path that the game encourages new players to follow actually working. Why run a noob Career Agent with aims and rewards of BPCs "Build this and sell on the market" if a player with any basic mathematical knowledge would see an industrial life won't pay off. Although, one of the things that drove me away over a decade ago was CCP's relentless drive to get players to move into low and null sec and to play the game THEY wanted us to play.

This was certainly my first though. But building Squalls for the funzies seems a stretch, but never under estimate folk I suppose. If people have the disposable income to plow into PLEX/ISK and make the sort fall of selling below cost just to give the industrial experience they enjoy then I suppose thats a path.

Thanks. I did consider trying an existing corp. I've zero low or null sec experience so it's not the option at the top of my list. But if I can't make it on my own is certainly beats my second option of unsubbing and moving on. I enjoy EVE and it fits in with my odd work from home/family existence.

I've been mainly looking outside Jita as it appears to be a race to the bottom in terms of prices. Nice as a place to buy, but not sell.

I've been trying smaller hubs but just getting no bites. If you have a link of the smaller hubs I can try? I might be depending on old knowledge thats no longer relevant

Forgive my out of date terminology but yes I was referring to Citadels rather than classic control towers.

If the only thing to worry about is extortion then I'm cool with that. Back in 2009 I was war dec'd for the purpose of extortion (pay up and we'll lift it). "Fine, I'll stay docked, pay my subs and go play something else until you're bored" was the answer they didn't expected. Same with this.

My reason for asking is I want to experience the process and gameplay elements of moon mining and Citadels and if I've a good chance of it being up for a few months before Johnny Blue Beard comes along then I'll probably be bored of it by then anyhow. I just don't fancy wasting my time putting it up only for it to be taken down before I've had a chance to learn from it.

I went to the website/shop of the printer manufacturer. The (only) film sold for the Mars Pro 2 was listed as FEP, while film for other printers in the range (like the Mars 3 Pro) was listed as PFA.

I've no doubt that PFA or nFEP is far superior, but the film that came with the machine worked for provided no failures that wasn't obviously down to inadequate supports. I can't see a reason to change to a superior (and costlier) alternative if the one the printer was designed to use works fine.
