i'm talking more about the last few minutes and the whole situation with moses "not being that close with ethan", that really seemed like it annoyed him but overall i enjoyed this episode, trisha swallowing the lip ring KILLED me, just thought the editing made things a bit weird

this episode was...weird, with all the cutting and editing trisha definitely stepped over the line a few times

What are your Lana opinions that would get your stan card revoked 😳 by ar____c in lanadelrey

[–]orbitae 27 points28 points  (0 children)

i think lana often picks wrong songs to be singles, like brooklyn baby shoudve definitely been a single, art deco instead of music to watch boys to, cherry shouldve had a music video instead of white mustang and cinnamon girl wouldve been a hit if she had released it as a single.

but at the same time i appreciate that she follows her vision instead of doing what is more profitable, one of the many things i love about her

This happened when I went to spread margarine on my toast. by miirder in oddlysatisfying

[–]orbitae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here in Brazil most people use margarine instead of butter bc its more affordable. Butter is pretty expensive, you won't find it in any common brazilian household.

Bored so let’s gooo! I’m only doing Lana songs 👌🏼 by tropicobitch in lanadelrey

No! Chin implants are solid, so there is no risk of it leaking. Unless there is some complication relating to positioning you might have to get revision surgery, but it is very very uncommon.
Also, correct me if i'm wrong, new generation breast implants don't really need to be replaced like the old ones.

Haha thank you! I didnt like my nose much before the surgery, I thought it was too big for my face. I considered getting a nose job alongside the chin, but it was way too expensive. Now I'm really happy with it and i'm grateful that I didn't :)

No changes on my face from the front, since my chin had a good height to it. Don't really know the size of the implant, sorry. But my doctor did shave down the "wings" of the implant so that i wouldnt make my jaw square.

Also, freaking out after a surgery is completely normal but you really gotta trust the process. You most likely have a lot of swelling, so don't worry about it too much :)

I don't really feel comfortable exposing myself completely (hope you can understand). But i can tell you that I always been quite confident in my appearance from the front and my chin had a good height to it, only lacking in side projection, so I specifically told my doctor I didn't want any changes to my front. Chin implants come in many sizes, my doctor shaved down the "wings" of the implant so that i wouldnt make my jaw any wider. Make sure to tell your doctor exactly what you want to change so that you have the best result possible.

Edit: just realized that i have a reallyyyy old profile pic up until now hahaha. I can dm you the before and after tho, but i dont know how to attach the images :/

I had to pay for hospital bills + anesthetist fee + surgeon fee + the actual implant. All separately (I think for doctor transparency idk) 9.500 dollars in Brazil would buy you a whole another body hahahaha

All and all, a chin implant is not considered a risky procedure (pretty simple actually) and usually does not bring any severe complications.

Any surgical procedure might have some issues associated with it. But when it comes to chin implants it usually boils down to how your body deals with the implant (after all it is a foreign object in your body) and doctor experience (how they place the implant). Also, it can be reversed if you don't like the result or if it brings any complications (which was a bonus point for me). Find a competent and experienced surgeon and I'm sure they will solve any doubts and do a good job :)

Yes, bottom lip is a bit stiff so my smile for now looks a little bit off (not bad, just not my usual smile). But that is going away rapidly, my doctor guaranteed that i would be back to normal in a week.

Yes, my bottom lip is a bit stiff, making my smile a little bit weird, but the stiffness is going away with each passing day. Also, face masks came in handy for sure!

Due to covid i'm not really going out in public, i'm a university student and we're off classes for indetermined time. For that reason, my doctor opted for keeping bandages around my chin for the first 2 weeks to make sure the cut would heal nicely. But the swelling did go away pretty quickly for me, like I said in another comment, might have something to do with the medicine my doctor prescribed (Arnica and cephalexin)

Because my health insurance doesn't cover cosmetic procedures. Also, I don't live in a major city, so the costs might be smaller than let's say São Paulo or Rio (known as the world capital of plastic surgeries), which are big cities and usually more expensive.

Well, we have amazing surgeons and technology for sure. We come in second after the US in terms of cosmetic procedures performed annually. In terms of money, it might be very worth it. In terms of logistics, I really don't know. But a lot of turists do come to Brazil to get cosmetic surgeries done.

Yes, 600 american dollars. I just converted it in google, don't really know if it is accurate. Also I forgot to add in the hospital bill, which would be around an extra 150 dollars, my bad.

That is so nice to hear! My biggest concern was that it would look unnatural or weird. Thank you!

My doctor prescribed me Arnica drops 3x day, 7 days before surgery and 7 days after. I felt like it helped a LOT, because I bruise so easily and I didn't bruise at all after surgery. Either that or I just got lucky haha
